Vs Werrington - 28th January
The U13 side on their second outing managed to tie the scores batting second with the help of a double wide (this is worth 6) off of the last ball against a strong Werrington outfit.Only to find out later that we lost due to losing more wickets (one of many new rules to learn)! There was some good bowling from Caleb Rowe and Jack Trethewey who took 0-12 and 2-13 respectively off of their 3 overs, also there was some good work from Luke Howorth behind the stumps. Will Hoskin led the way with the bat with a fine 20, followed up by 13 and 16 from the allrounders Caleb and Jack. Harry collinge and Ben Attfield battled away with a cameo stand at the end to force the scores level.
